Somehow I overlooked sharing my latest article here- and, in my opinion, it’s an important one! As you peruse the December issue, be sure to check out the article on my friends at Sub Zero Mission, and see if there might be a way to help ’em out. Plenty more great stuff to read in the Midwest Motorcyclist archives while you’re there, help you get through remains of winter.
Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you on the road!
April issue of Midwest Motorcyclist online now, sharing my first experience on an electric motorbike- as well as plenty more for your entertainment. Enjoy!
If you like what you’ve read here, I also have a few new pieces in my “Random Ramblings of a Rarebird” column in Midwest Motorcyclist. You can even find a bit more family sentimentality- with motorbikes, of course- in the September issue!
As always, thanks for reading. Appreciate you stopping by!
…Awaits the Intensity of Spring
Riding a vintage bike is the joy of riding a mechanical work of art. It means short rides, mostly from lack of confidence in even well-maintained old parts, and long stops, as everyone wants to talk to you about the bike. It means a glorious glimpse of the past, and a connection with those who rode before. And it’s an intimate knowledge of one’s motorbike, as nearly every ride requires some sort of repair by the end. Yet we continue, somehow, to enjoy it all just the same…
Be seen, ride smart, stay safe and I’ll see you on the road!
