Check out the latest issue from our friends at Midwest Motorcyclist, hot off the… er… servers? Well, maybe still “the presses”, if you’re a lucky reader of the “old school” print version. This issue is complete with my latest Ramblings, roughly formulated while rolling a new H-D Trike. You can find my streams of consciousness amidst the more organized prose of my fellow motowriters at Midwest Motorcyclist.
For years I’ve considered a website dedicated to local travels, but I’ve had an issue with dedicating the time to making it happen- and, If I’m honest, the idea has been more than a little intimidating as well. Mark Twain wisely said “The secret of getting ahead is just getting started.”, words that made me decide the dream is worth investing the time. So a few weeks ago I began quietly creating the site and filling the pages. Now the time has finally come to shout it to the world; Ride Local Dream Global lives at RideLocalDreamGlobal.com! We can also be found on Instagram at RideLocalDreamGlobal, Ride Local Dream Global on facebook, and twitter @RidLclDreamGlbl.
I plan to keep my Random Ramblings happening here, but I’m hoping to have much more to share at Ride Local Dream Global. A smattering of words mixed with colorful pictures, maybe even video. Motorbikes, cars, goofy attractions, and more. Time will tell what direction things take, if they happen to go a specific direction at all. If you have some time, stop by and let me know what you think. If you like what you see, please spread the word. If it’s not your thing, that’s cool too- thanks for checking us out just the same. Now I’ve got to get back to it!
The mind dreams of epic journeys, but the spirit still sings gloriously on simple voyages close to home.
April issue of Midwest Motorcyclist online now, sharing my first experience on an electric motorbike- as well as plenty more for your entertainment. Enjoy!
If you like what you’ve read here, I also have a few new pieces in my “Random Ramblings of a Rarebird” column in Midwest Motorcyclist. You can even find a bit more family sentimentality- with motorbikes, of course- in the September issue!
As always, thanks for reading. Appreciate you stopping by!
